Description

Perched on Mount Kenya's fertile southern foothills, the Kii factory sits in rich volcanic soil which is ideal for growing conditions. Local farmers cultivate about half an acre each, typically with 250 coffee trees. The farmers bring their carefully selected cherries to the factory where Kii is renowed for high quality processing and very clean facilities.

Kenyan coffees, including Kii Kirinyaga, are often characterized by their fruity and citrusy notes, with a floral aroma. They typically have a strong acidity balanced with a full body, making them stand out among other coffee beans worldwide.
